He was not expected to survive, but against all odds he did, and returned to racing just six weeks later.
Extraction [2020]
In a dusty and crime-ridden city in Nepal, Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary, is hired to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. When the boy is unexpectedly killed, Tyler is forced to fight his way out of the city with the help of the boy’s mother. As they fight their way through the city’s seedy underbelly, they must confront the forces that led to the boy’s death.
12 Strong [2018]
The film follows the 12 members of the U.S. Special Forces team (known as the Horse Soldiers) who were sent to Afghanistan immediately following the September 11th attacks. The team’s mission was to work with the Northern Alliance to take down the Taliban regime and its al-Qaeda allies. The film chronicles the team’s arduous journey through the treacherous Afghan landscape and their eventual triumph against all odds.
Thor: Ragnarok [2017]
In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his hammer. He must race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his home world and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, Hela.
Thor: Love and Thunder [2022]
Thor sets out on a journey to find inner peace, but his retirement is cut short by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer bent on wiping out all gods. To stop him, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (who can inexplicably wield his hammer). Together they go on a cosmic adventure to uncover why the God Butcher wants them dead.
The Cabin In The Woods [2011]
Five friends go to a remote cabin for a vacation. While there, they find a mysterious diary that details how to release a monster from the basement. When they release the monster, it begins to kill them one by one. As they die, the friends realize that the diary was written by the previous occupants of the cabin, who were killed by the monster. The friends must now work together to survive and escape the cabin.
Vacation [2015]
The Griswolds are back! In this reboot of the classic franchise, the family goes on a vacation to visit their cousin Eddie in California. While there, they go on a series of misadventures, including getting stranded in the wilderness and being chased by a group of armed robbers.
In The Heart Of The Sea [2015]
In The Heart of the Sea is a 2015 American action-adventure drama film directed and produced by Ron Howard and written by Charles Leavitt. It is based on the book of the same name by Nathaniel Philbrick, about the sinking of the whale-ship Essex in 1820, an event that inspired the novel Moby-Dick.
The film opens in 1820, with the Essex sailing from Nantucket for the Pacific Ocean on a whaling expedition. The ship’s first mate, Owen Chase (Chris Hemsworth), and first mate’s cabin boy, Thomas Nickerson (Brendan Gleeson), are on watch when they spot a large whale. The whale then attacks the Essex, causing it to sink. The survivors are left stranded in three small whaleboats, with little food or water.
The men are forced to eat their own shoes and leather belts to survive. They also catch and eat seagulls and raw fish. After several weeks at sea, they spot an island. They land on the island, only to find that it is inhabited by cannibals.
The Huntsman: Winter’s War [2016]
The Huntsman: Winter’s War is a 2016 American dark fantasy action-adventure film based on the characters from the German fairy tale “Snow White”, as well as the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman. The film was directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, with a screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Craig Mazin. T
The film is set after the events of Snow White and the Huntsman. Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) has died, but her sister Freya (Emily Blunt) has taken her place as the new Ice Queen. The Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) and his lover, Sara (Jessica Chastain), are living in peace until Freya’s army attacks their village and kills Sara. The Huntsman sets out on a quest to find Freya and kill her, but he is also being hunted by Eric (Nick Frost), a fellow huntsman who has been sent by Freya to kill him.
Men in Black: International [2019]
Men in Black: International is a 2019 American science fiction action comedy film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The film is a spin-off of the Men in Black franchise, which was originally based on the Malibu/Marvel comic book series of the same name by Lowell Cunningham.
In the film, the Men in Black have to deal with the arrival of an alien threat that is targeting their London headquarters.
Red Dawn [2012]
Red Dawn is a 2012 American action thriller film directed by Dan Bradley and written by Carl Ellsworth and Jeremy Passmore.
The film is set in the present day, but it is based on the 1984 film of the same name. In the original film, a group of Soviet and Cuban soldiers invade the United States and take over a small town in Colorado. The new film is about a group of North Korean soldiers who invade the United States and take over Seattle.
The invaders round up all of the adults in the city and put them in concentration camps. The children are left to fend for themselves. A group of teenagers, led by Jed Eckert (Chris Hemsworth), band together to fight back against the invaders. They call themselves the Wolverines, after their high school mascot.
Blackhat [2015]
A black-hat hacker is released from prison to help the FBI track down a terrorist organization. However, he soon realizes that the FBI is only using him as a pawn in their own game, and he sets out to exact his revenge.
Spiderhead [2022]
In a groundbreaking penitentiary run by a genius visionary, two inmates grapple with their pasts while the latter conducts scientist experiments on mind-altering drugs.
