I’ve had my ups and downs with entrepreneurship. I’ve started (and stopped) my fair share of businesses over the years, including this blog, if you consider blogging a business. And, let me tell you, being a business owner is not as easy as it may appear on social media. You will work tirelessly for long hours with very little sleep and high levels of stress – at least that was my experience. However, it can also be personally and financially rewarding if done right. Just be prepared for an unpredictable ride out of this world, with many twists and turns. I mean in hindsight there were a lot of things, I could have done differently, and would have if I knew better. One of those is starting a blog along with my business venture.
A blog is a great resource for any business. It’s a way to share your story, connect with customers and build an audience. But, most importantly, it’s a way to drive traffic to your website and make sales. (And, who doesn’t want more money? I know I do).
