Love knows no boundaries! It is a universal concept that doesn’t (and shouldn’t) recognize skin color, religion, or social class. However, let’s be honest, as humans, we don’t always practice what we preach. And, as I write these words, I can’t help but think of a well-known saying: Love who loves you back. It’s a friendly reminder to seek out our own relationships and not let social pressures dictate our life choices. It’s also a reminder that love doesn’t recognize color.
And speaking of love that doesn’t recognize color, let’s give a shout-out to some of our favorite celebrity interracial couples.
Adele and Rich Paul
I love them together. Adele, the unparalleled British singer-songwriter, and her partner, Rich Paul, one of the foremost sports agents, made their relationship public during an NBA Finals game between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks. The couple has been going strong ever since.

Jeezy and Jenna Mai Jenkins
The couple’s journey began when he made a guest appearance on her daytime talk show, The Real. Years later, Jeezy took Jenna Mai on a sushi date, and the rest is history.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The royal couple. Their union has not only defied racial boundaries but also shook up the etiquette of the royal family. As if their love story wasn’t already beautiful enough, they welcomed a son named Archie in 2019 as well as a daughter, Lilibet Diana, in 2021.

Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego Saldana
Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego Saldana make a stunning couple. The Avatar actress is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, while her husband has an Italian background. In a bold defiance of societal norms, Mr. Marco bravely embraced Zoe’s last name, delivering a resounding slap to tradition.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian
Talk about a power couple! Tennis champion Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian have been serving major relationship goals. The two met while staying at the same hotel in Rome. “This guy comes and he just plops down at the table next to us and I’m like, ‘Huh! All these tables and he’s sitting here?’” Williams told Vanity Fairin 2017.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
I can’t lie, Chrissy and John are my favs. The model and singer first met while filming the music video for John’s song “Stereo”. After wrapping up the shoot, they headed back to Legend’s hotel room, chowed down on some tasty In-N-Out burgers, and…hooked up. The two married in 2013, and now have four children together—Luna, Miles Esti, and Wren.

Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adam Housley
Tamera and Adam have been married since 2011. The couple often takes to social media to share stories of their beautiful blended family—son Aden and daughter Ariah.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes
If you look up, “keep your relationship private” a photo of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes should appear. The two have managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight for many years, and I’m not mad at them.

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin
I can’t lie – this one came as a surprise to me. Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin announced their engagement in February 2023, and have two kids together – Dakota and Carson.

Gabourey Sidibe and Brandon Frankel
Empire and Precious star Gabourey wedded music executive Brandon Frankel in 2021. The two are often seen posting sweet messages on their Instagram accounts, making us all feel the love!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Lauren Hashian
Dwayne Johnson, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, and his partner Lauren Hashian have been married since 20. The couple now has two daughters — Jasmine Lia and Tiana Gia.

Eve and Maximillion Cooper
Rapper and actress Eve and British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper simply radiate love. The two tied the knot in a ceremony in Ibiza back in 2014.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
A Bollywood love story like no other! Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been inseparable from the moment they began their journey together. And if that wasn’t enough to make our hearts skip a beat, the couple sealed their love with a breathtaking multi-day celebration that spanned several weeks in 2018.

So, there you have it, my friends! A colorful palette of love that paints a beautiful picture of diversity and unity, breaking barriers and defying norms. These celebrity interracial couples are not just about the glitz and glam of Hollywood. They are real people, in real relationships, dealing with the same societal pressures as everyone else. Although the fight for equality is far from over, we take solace in knowing that love has no color. As long as people look beyond skin color, religion, and social class to find the beauty of a relationship between two people then one day we will get there.
