Along the way, the movie features a number of memorable scenes and characters, including the infamous “twist dance” scene between Vega and Mia Wallace, the boss’s wife. Ultimately, the movie is a crime drama with a comedic edge that has become a cult classic.
Kill Bill: Volume I [2003]
The movie Kill Bill: Volume I is about a woman named The Bride who is part of an assassination team led by a man named Bill. After The Bride decides she wants to leave the team, Bill tries to kill her on her wedding day. The Bride survives but is left in a coma for four years. When she wakes up, she sets out on a mission of revenge, killing all of the people who were involved in the attempt on her life. The movie is a non-stop action-filled thrill ride that features some of the most impressive fight scenes ever put to film. It also has a great soundtrack featuring a mix of popular songs and original music composed by RZA.
Kill Bill: Volume II [2004]
The movie Kill Bill: Volume II picks up where the first movie left off, with The Bride continuing her revenge mission. She eventually tracks down Bill and they have a final showdown. The movie is just as action-packed as the first one, but it also has a more emotional storyline. This is due to the fact that we learn more about the characters and their motivations. The movie also features a number of great scenes, including a fight between The Bride and Gogo Yubari, one of Bill’s assassins.
Django: Unchained [2012]
Django is a former slave, who, under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter, becomes a bad-ass bounty hunter himself. With the help of his trusty horse and a handful of fellow bounty hunters, Django sets out to take down the plantation and rescue his wife. Along the way, Django learns the ropes of being a bounty hunter, and kicks some serious ass.
Reservoir Dogs [1992]
The movie Reservoir Dogs is about a group of criminals who are hired by a man named Joe Cabot to carry out a diamond heist. However, things go wrong during the robbery and the criminals find themselves being hunted by the police. As they try to figure out what went wrong, the criminals start turning on each other, leading to a bloody and violent confrontation. The movie is full of great dialogue, interesting characters, and suspenseful scenes. It’s also a great example of Tarantino’s use of non-linear storytelling, as the events of the movie are shown out of order.
The Hateful Eight [2015]
The Hateful Eight is an American revisionist Western mystery film. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demián Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Bruce Dern as eight strangers who seek refuge from a blizzard in a stagecoach stopover some time after the American Civil War.
Tensions arise when one of the passengers, who claims to be a hangman, is revealed to be the wanted fugitive Daisy Domergue. The others prepare to turn her in for the reward, but when the sheriff and another man are killed, the situation spirals out of control. The film was released on December 25, 2015, in a limited 70mm roadshow theatrical release, grossing over $155 million worldwide. It received positive reviews from critics, with many praising Tarantino’s direction, screenplay, and the cast’s performances. It received several Academy Award nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Leigh and Best Cinematography.
Jackie Brown [1997]
Jackie Brown is a crime drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film is an adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s novel Rum Punch. It stars Pam Grier as the titular character, a flight attendant who becomes caught up in smuggling cash into the United States for her boss. When she is arrested, she agrees to help the police bust her boss in exchange for immunity. The movie features an all-star cast, including Robert Forster, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, and Bridget Fonda. Jackie Brown is a slower-paced movie than some of Tarantino’s other movies, but it’s just as engaging and well-written.
Grindhouse: Death Proof [2007]

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follows the lives of two struggling actors in Los Angeles during the late 1960s. Rick Dalton is a washed-up TV Western star, while his best friend and stunt double, Cliff Booth, is a has-been who now works as a Hollywood stuntman. As the two friends try to make it in an industry that is rapidly changing, they cross paths with the Manson Family, a group of cult followers led by Charles Manson. The film culminates with the infamous Tate murders, which shocked the nation.
Inglourious Basterds [2009]
In the early days of World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen for a secret mission. Their mission is to kill as many Nazis as possible, and to make the war end sooner. The Basterds are successful in carrying out their mission, and they become famous for it. However, they eventually come up against a Nazi officer who is just as ruthless and cunning as they are. The Basterds must use all of their skills and ingenuity to defeat this enemy, and ultimately end the war.
